Robots

2010 Robot: Jaws

Jaws

Season: 2011
Status: Still Dominating

Jaws had a firm grip on the competition in 2011. He was able to hang every ring with-out fail. Jaws almost chomped his way to victory in D.C. but came up short in the final match.

2010 Robot: Becks

Becks

Season: 2010
Status: Still Dominating

Becks was able to boot the ball with the best of them in 2010. He had tank treads that easily enabled him to traverse the bumps on the field. The treads also provided a ton of traction that allowed us to easily push opponents around (and even lodge one defender in the goal). We were also able to kick the ball from any of the zones by using a pneumatic kicker, but our specialty was dominating the offensive zone.

2009 Robot: Deion

Deion

Season: 2009
Status: Functional

Deion excelled at collecting moon rocks off of the arena floor with a conveyor system. The conveyor system transferred the moon rocks from the floor, upward and deposited them in a large holding bin. The moon rocks were then dumped into the opponent's trailer by opening a door, allowing the rocks to be released.

2008 Robot: Noobinator

Noobinator

Season: 2008
Status: Functional

The robot used suction to pick up the balls that were part of that season's game. The suction cup then extended upward so we could either throw the ball over or place the ball on the rack.

2007 Robot: Dodobot

Dodobot

Season: 2007
Status: Unknown

The robot had sides that extended down and turned into platforms that were able to lift robots up to 12 inches into the air to score bonus points at the end of the match. Other than that it was used defensively during the rest of the match.

2006 Robot: Snailbot

Snailbot

Season: 2006
Status: Functional

The robot had a sweeper/conveyor system to pick-up balls and had a rotating catapult system for throwing the balls into the goals in the 2006 game.
