
Kyle Bucholtz
Lead Advisor

Bio:
Mr. Bucholtz is currently a teacher at McDowell Senior High School. He teaches
computer programming as well as computer applications. He is the lead advisor
for our team. Mr. Bucholtz helps the team out with anything he possibly can
at each of our meetings. Whether it is just giving an opinion or taking the
robot for a test drive, team members can rely on him for anything.
Plans for the future:
Marry Carrie Underwood... (We are sad to say this dream may not be realized)


Kate Hrdlicka
Lead Mentor
Started: 2005
Bio:
Kate works as a sub-system engineer at GE Transportation. She is the mentor
for the drive train task team and also orders parts for the robot. Kate makes
sure that we all get our tasks done on time and gives us extra motivation
when we need it.


Tom Albert
Team Support Mentor
Started: 2002
Bio:
Outside of our team, Mr. Albert helped with lego league for 4 years.
He helps out with whatever task teams need a mentor. This includes things
such as leading the minibot team, scouting team at the competition, and
getting the team equipment when it is needed.


Mathew Bajoras
Website Mentor
Started: 2008
Bio:
Matt was a member of the team from 2006 to 2008. He worked on the website
during those years and got the Pittsburgh Regional Website Award in 2008. He
then came back and helped students work on the website. Matt is currently a
student at Penn State Behrend majoring in Software Engineering.

Bio:
Marty was recruited by Bret and Kathi Worden to come and be the new machining
mentor.


Jerry DeRosa
Wiring/Electrical Mentor
Started: 2007
Bio:
Jerry DeRosa, a retired GE electrician, was recruited in 2008 to help with
wiring by his nephew, a former team member.


Aaron Mitchell
Programming Mentor
Started: 2010
Bio:
Aaron Mitchell, an engineer with the PTR Group, was recruited in 2010 as a
programming mentor.


Joe Wakeman
Programming Mentor
Started: 2009
Bio:
Joe Wakeman of GE joined Team 63 through his friendship with Kate Hrdlicka.
He now helps every night with programming.


Bret and Kathi Worden
Appendage Mentors
Started: 2010
Bio:
Bret and Kathi learned of Team 63 through Celebrate Erie in the summer of
2010. They became so interested in Team 63 and FIRST that they joined us as
mentors. Bret is also an engineer at GE.

Kyle Kraschneske

Bio:
Kyle was a member of the 2008 McDowell Robotics Team. He enjoys bringing his experience back to the team. Outside of mentoring his hobbies include working on cars and developing computer software.

Layne Cook

Bio:
Layne donates his time away from Merit Tool Inc. He assists the students with our machining needs. Away from robotics, he enjoys spending his with his family.
